This little piggy went screaming all the way home
Here is a tour to make the hairs on the back of your neck virtually bristle. What could be more bestial than a haunted piggery, nestled on the banks of the Maribyrnong River?
This slaughterhouse was once the very heart, liver and intestines of that offensive industry the meat works in Footscray but animals weren't the only bodies floating to the surface.
According to Jacqui Travaglia who runs Lantern Tours with partner Andrew Wishart: "gamblers, murderers and infamous characters from the criminal underworld have all been linked to the salt river, their tales were lost in time but their ghosts still linger."
Anything could happen on this tour. Be prepared for unexplained noises and even some ghost sightings.
