It's Sunday morning. The sun is shining. Perfect day for a romantic day out. And my partner suggests I join him for a drive to the landscape store to get some bark and mulch.

Insert groans and moans and bed here)

Reluctantly, I took my coffee and climbed into his ute and off we went. He continued to assure me it would be a lot of fun as we are in the process of tidying up the home prior to sale. Slowly, I warmed to the idea we pulled into a huge area with gigantic piles of sand, dirt, bark, woodchips and even a wall of grass that you can choose from. I stepped out of the ute and instantly inhaled the aroma that reminded me of helping dad out in the garden as a kid.

My partner was right. Helping him tidy the gardens was a lot of fun and ladies, it was even romantic. Sweaty kisses, smiles in the sun - aaah.

Together we pulled out weeds and laughed, and I even shovelled tonnes of woodchips. I could feel my arms working like they never had before. I was combining romance, sun tanning and a work out all in one. And the exciting part, it was cheap. A ute full of mulch and bark cost only $70! That's the price of my weekly blow dry or a dinner for two!

Girls, this weekend, why not sexify the D.I.Y projects and heat things up as the weather cools, while making your home beautiful.
