Bringing back the butterflies, birds and wildflowers
The original grassy woodland site at Morialta Conservation Park needs restoration and your help is needed. Friends of Black Hill & Morialta Inc will be planting up a butterfly's banquet with lots of different local natives on Sunday 28 May 2017 between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Gloves and tools will be supplied, but you will need to wear sturdy shoes and bring a hat.

The grassy woodland will support many native butterflies and provide habitat for a number of local woodland birds. Wildflowers will also be spectacular during the spring and summer months.
At morning tea time, Jeremy Gramps from NRM Education will present a short talk on how to plant up your own butterfly-friendly garden. At lunch time, a sausage sizzle will be provided.
