The list of hospitals requesting the bags grow weekly
Whether you're handy with your hands or not, the pattern for a drawstring bag is pretty simple and can be attempted by anyone. A callout for Handmade Heroes has been made by Life's Little Treasures Foundation, for healthcare workers. These bags have been developed to give Health Professionals something to carry their scrubs and change of clothes home after their shifts. At an anxious time for all of us, this will help them feel less vulnerable and eliminate unwarranted negative attention in the community.
If you'd like to be a champ and help make some bags for hospital staff, you'll find the pattern HERE and you can DOWNLOAD IT HERE. On that same page, you'll also find a list of hospitals who have requested them, with the list growing weekly. Please send your donated bags to the participating hospitals on the list only! Not all hospitals have the capacity to accept donations at this time, so STICK TO THE LIST PLEASE when posting your bags.

During this particularly difficult time, the NICU and SCN teams continue on the frontline providing babies with the best possible care. Now it's time to say thanks by supplying this pressing need. When making the bags.be creative, add embellishments with messages of thanks, patterns and shapes or even include a thank you letter inside the bag. Whatever you do, do it with heart.
Your efforts will be greatly appreciated by those who have put their lives on the line over the last few months to ensure the safety of so many. What a great way to give thanks to these heroes.
