They may have been bigger in the 90's but Helmet is back in town, and getting along to one of their shows is definitely an outstanding way to spend a night out. An alternative metal band that formed in New York back in 1989, Helmet is back in Australia after the release of their seventh album "Seeing Eye Dog," their first since 2006.
After a successful tour in 2008, "Meantime Tour," Helmet have come back to sooth the hearts of their longtime fans and pump out some high voltage metal starting in Auckland and finishing in Newcastle.

The Sydney show will be held at the Manning Bar at Sydney University on the 24th of June and the Melbourne gig will be rocked out on the 25th of June at the Hi-Fi Bar in Swanston St. Tickets are on sale now and for an elementary $55.95, it's an occasion not to be missed.
