Good Riddance Winter Hello Spring So lovely to see you
My home town is experiencing a transformation of sorts. Clevehole, as the suburb is affectionately known by local youth, now has dedicated cafe and restaurant precincts, a flourishing arts scene, and all with the natural backdrop of beautiful Moreton Bay.
Cleveland also now has "The Bench", a great little meeting place in Middle Street, close to the Redland Performing Art Centre. Specialising in premium Australian bottle and on tap craft beers, as well as fine wines, this intimate venue is adding to the vibe.
The raw timber look of the indoor space is warm and inviting, whilst the few tables outside overlooking the lawn bordering Kyling Corner are more relaxed. This grassy area will receive top billing when The Bench welcomes Spring on Saturday, 27th August.
From 1pm, there will be live music on the lawn with The Lyrical and The Astral Twins, as well as finger food supplied by Gabo's BBQ Smokehouse.
