Not too far from the Adelaide CBD, Hello Pattaya along Torrens Road at Bowden offers affordable and tasty Thai cuisine. Service was very efficient with our dishes not taking long to arrive after we have placed our order.

Their Larb Gai had a generous amount of minced chicken that had a delectable flavour. The various vegetables in the salad provided an element of freshness with the mint adding a refreshing flavour to the dish. A sauce was served separately because some customers may find the Larb tasty enough without it.



The Pineapple Curry Fried Rice is one of the dishes where you can choose the main ingredient, either beef, chicken, seafood or vegetables. The chicken that I chose for the dish was cooked just right and the rice was light and fluffy. It had a flavour that I thought was similar to a Malaysian curry and the chunks of pineapple imparted a hint of sweetness.



We were delighted that the beef we chose for the Pad Thai was not tough and the sauce had the taste of a good Pad Thai dish. The rice noodles were cooked al dente and the bean sprouts had a bit of crunch. A lemon wedge, crushed peanuts and chilli flakes were served with the dish for additional flavour and texture. It is advisable to not be too heavy-handed with the chilli to avoid making the dish too spicy for your taste.



This place primarily caters for takeaway but there are a few seats for dine-in customers. Its location makes it convenient for office workers to grab a meal on the way home.
