With all the wet weather we've been having, couldn't have opened at a better time. Located on the first floor of the old Myer building in Coorparoo, Hello Let's Play is Brisbane's biggest indoor playground.

All new businesses have a few hiccups in the beginning. Hello Let's Play is no exception. There have been a few challenges. Lack of air-conditioning is a big one, which management are currently working on. They have also listened to their customer's feedback (good and bad) and made any appropriate changes.

I took my four year old to Hello Let's Play this week. The cavernous space is filled with obstacle courses, jumping castles, ball pits, and more. We headed to the toddler Fun Zone first. Here we found swings, slides, scooters, ride-ons, and a musical boat; all sized for little ones.

Next we crossed the room to Planet 300, another play area suited to children aged three and up. The slippery dips here were a big hit, especially the one that slides into the ball pit. Another highlight for my daughter was shooting foam balls across the play area with a ball shooter. There's also a small indoor court with artificial turf for ball games, complete with oversized, soccer goals and low-hanging basketball hoops.

If you're planning a party, Hello Let's Play has six themed party rooms: princess, fairy, dinosaur, jungle, outer space, and under the sea.

The website also mentions a Game Zone with coin-operated arcade games for tweens and teens. I'm not sure if this has been set up yet. If it has, it is well hidden. Hello Let's Play has big plans for the future, including disco parties, dance classes, and art classes. Click here for more information.

Until the air-conditioning issue has been resolved, Hello Let's Play is offering an introductory price. Entry costs $7 per child including a kid's meal. Adults pay $3.50 which includes a free coffee, tea, or juice. The small, on-site cafe offers coffee, cold drinks, and snacks, such as sushi, sandwiches, hot chips, muffins, and more.

Socks must be worn by children and adults inside the play centre. Parking is plentiful.
