I am a copywriter and cake eater with a funny name squeezing delight from life in the Perth Hills with two invigorating teenagers, a cyclone of a toddler, and some geese.

What's more fun than a fete?
Helena Valley is a pretty little spot. At the foothills of the scarp with soaring views of the Mundaring and Kalamunda Hills, and a hop skip and a jump to busy Midland but just tucked away enough to be delightfully quiet, it's no wonder the locals love it.
Come Along for all the Fun of the Fete!
The Helena Valley Primary School P&C are a vibrant, active bunch. Every two years they band together to bring this event to the community, and ensure they welcome others from the surrounding areas to attend also.
The Fete this year is offering kids rides, attractions, a Yellow Brick Road of arts and crafts, woodwork, pony rides, Go Kartz, not one but TWO bouncy castles, face painting, a cake stall, a huge plant sale and more.
The school was established in 1927 and currently is home to just under 300 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Fete works to fundraise to provide additional funds to improve educational resources and opportunities for their students.
