Children in the Redlands are spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor play areas. Whether it be an expansive area of parkland suitable for ball games, a bushland environment to encourage an interest in nature or simple yet modern playground equipment, the youngest members of our community have been well catered.



I've stumbled upon another park hidden deep within suburbia that the little people would enjoy with its pretty backdrop of gumtrees. The playground equipment includes a slippery dip, climbing blocks, swings, rope climbs, as well as a fort and all under a sunshade.



There is an undercover picnic table where parents can sit quietly, whilst keeping watch over their little ones as well as access to water.



I've always enjoyed the squeals of children's joy that derives from play in a park. I enjoy it even more when it results in a good night's sleep, don't you?



Located on Heffernan Road, Alexandra Hills, just past the Vienna Woods Primary School.
