Fresh produce from local farmers at Heathmont Market
Heathmont is a suburb of Melbourne and approximately twenty-four kilometres east of Melbourne's CBD. The name of the suburb appears to come from the area having heath or low scrub like vegetation with the area originally being covered by hedge to hedge apple orchards.

On the first Sunday of each month, the town hosts the Heathmont Farmers Market where fresh and local produce from independent farmers, bakers, brewers and creators showcase their goods to the community and visitors. The markets are held at the Great Ryrie Primary School, Great Ryrie Street, Heathmont from 8.00am through to 1.00pm.

Take the opportunity to talk to the farmers, learn about their crops and how they market their produce to your appetite and table.

This a dog-friendly free event and there is ample parking. We ask that you bring along reusable bags to take your goods home. Cash is the preferred payment of all goods.

Along with the fresh produce, other bits & bobs are also available for purchase. You never know what treasures you will find there.

The first date for 2020, is Sunday 5th January and every first Sunday of the month from then on. For more information, please call 0419 351 878.
