Heathers The Musical

Cult classic film, Heathers (1989) starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, has found new life on stage in "Heathers The Musical" now playing at the Arts Centre Melbourne Playhouse. Enjoy the murderous mayhem in this dark comedy about angst-ridden teenager, Veronica Sawyer, who finds out popularity comes at a high price until a mysterious new boy in school takes her on a Dexter-like rampage. Does Veronica choose to be a popular bitch, a vengeful vigilante or is there another option…?

The Musical, written by Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde) and Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives) is cheeky, irreverent and fun, but leave your kids at home, only angst-ridden teenagers and adults allowed. The cast features Helpmann nominee, Lucy Maunder, and the Sydney Theatre Best Newcomer award winner, Lauren McKenna, a real stand-out as Martha and Ms. Fleming.

Show must end May 22, so get your tickets now.
