Laughing Stock Productions presents 'Heath Franklin's - 'Chopper's Republic of Anzakistan' running at The Garden of Unearthly Delights - Corona Theatre, only four shows remaining before Chopper returns his baton and steps down.

Chopper's new show, Republic of Anzakistan, is ready to tell Australia that its time to grow and become a real nation. Chopper is ready to take his place as the rightful leader of Anzakistan. He takes to the stage with his catchphrase 'How the Bloody hell are ya?', Franklin's fans know what to expect when they walk into one of his Chopper shows. Its blunt, crude and full of offensive jokes, but if your open-minded you'll have a great time.

Be prepared as Chopper now runs Anzakistan things are going to change. He discusses the fact that a mid-life crisis used to mean a sports car and it now means a Lyra suit and a pushbike. He tells you everything that's wrong with his country and how hes going to change it, starting with vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free. He doesn't mind that people choose not to eat meat, but he also doesn't want to hear about it either.

He's changing the coat of arms from a kangaroo and an emu to a a pair of thongs, because he says we need to move forward and have you ever tried to go backwards in thongs? He's removing the street signs, because he says why should we have a sign saying 'Roundabout ahead' when you can see the big circle thing in front of you? and 'Wombat crossing' like the wombats know where to cross the road, they can't even tell another wombat from a truck.

Be ready to say goodbye to our flag, because Chopper's got a new idea for a flag and is replacing our national anthem too. Its all in good fun, Franklin's shows are creative, humorous and always have the audience laughing. As the show comes to a end the audience joins Franklin in a march out of the tent chanting the new national anthem while walking towards Canberra to put in Choppers requests to make this country better in order. A hilarious fringe show that is definitely worth a watch 4/5 Stars.
