Supporting Refugee Week, the Heartlands 2016 Arts Project consists of a programme of original and insightful short films, created by talented young storytellers from Somalia, Burma, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, and Syria.
Each short film explores a personal journey as a young refugee settling in Australia. You will discover their passions, hopes and dreams for the future.
Free screenings of this programme of short films (approximately 23 minutes) will take place in selected venues in Melbourne CBD, Footscray, Dandenong and Werribee from the 17th June and 28th August 2016.
