Question a professional crafter about how they made it big
If you are an amateur crafter and you want to make it into your own small business or you are a semi-professional who wants to take their craft to the next level, this is a really interesting event for you. BrisStyle Inc, the fabulous non-profit group who looks after handmade artisans across Brisbane is showcasing some of their most successful members in a series of 'Heart to Hearts' in the Brisbane Square Library.
Listen to a professional artist as they spill the beans on how they made their craft into their business. There is also an opportunity to ask questions to pick their brains a little more.
Up next is Alice Veivers from ladies fashion label Alice Nightingale. She completed her diploma in fashion design and technology and now spends her days sewing, crocheting, knitting among other crafts which she sells online and at her market stalls across the city. She is the seamstress and designer of her brand which has now taken off across the country.
