George Brown Darwin Botanic Garden is providing free fun activities these school holidays. "Healthy Holiday Fun Day" will be held on Thursday 5th October 2017 starting from 9am up to 1pm. Though the program is designed for primary school-aged children, "Healthy Holiday Fun Day" is open for children of all ages.

"Healthy Holiday Fun Day" will provide lots of water activities on that day. You can cool down on one of the water slides, play water tag, or try water warrior obstacle course.



For children who want to learn more about NT wildlife and get up-close with those animals, Bush Tales is offering "Animal Encounter". NT Parks and Wildlife also will be there with interesting children's activities.



If you are a little adventurous, you can try crate climbing and find out how tall you can stack the crates and jump off from the top. Segway Tours Sales and Leasing NT will let you try their Segway Rides for only $10 on this day.



For arty children, Bunnings will come to "Healthy Holiday Fun Day" with lots of activities for children. NT Rocks will provide rocks and paints for those who want to try to decorate a rock. After that, you can hide the painted rocks around George Brown Darwin Botanic Garden.





DJ Kevin will turn up the music and Hyper the Clown will teach children how to be a magician. There will also be face painting with Kingpin Darwin, balloon twisting by A Rainbow of Ballons, magic photo booth, NT Playgroup, Hector the Road Safety Cat, games with Healthy Living NT, Charles Darwin University and much more.



Northern Territory Camp Quality will have sausage sizzle food stall and a couple other food stalls also will be there to serve food and drinks. Please be aware that these food stalls only take cash. BYO picnics are welcome and families are encouraged to bring a picnic rug.
