A beautiful drive in the country to browse 100 market stalls
On 11 June 2016 is an event that's a little different. If you're looking for a nice easy morning driving to the countryside, Samford is holding it's Health and Wellbeing Forever Festival.
Hosted by Samford Commons, Samford Chemmart Pharmacy and the Moreton Bay Shire Council, the festival will showcase 100 local businesses who promote health and wellbeing, throughout John Scott Park and Samford Commons.
Samford is a lovely drive from Brisbane through Enoggera and Ferny Grove via Samford Road. It is just over half an hour out of Brisbane but feels like a different world away, where everything is a little more peaceful.
The festival is a free entry event and runs from 11am to 5pm on 11 June, so is a lovely idea for a morning drive. Enjoy lunch in one of Samford's many cafes or restaurants, and wander through the healthy living market stalls. Stay up to date with the latest news on the festival on their Facebook page.
Samford Commons actively promote and support businesses and events throughout Samford and this festival is a great initiative to promote wellbeing through local businesses.
