Healesville's three day Music Festival extravaganza
It is almost that time of year for Healesville to come alive with their annual Healesville Music Festival.

This event is a three-day extravaganza, which will have a huge variety of superb musicians and entertainers playing throughout the town at various venues.

Some of this years talented artists and acts included as part of the diverse line-up are The Northern Folk, Scott Cook, Lloyd Spiegel, Miss Eileen and King Lear, Frencham Smith Trio, The Royal High Jinx, The Stetson Family, John Flanagan Trio, Kurt Gentle, Khristian Mizzi, Sarah Carroll, Yusupha Ngum and The Affia Band, Richard Perso, Opal Ocean, Penny Larkins and Carl Pannuzzo, Iris, Didirri, The Humbuckin' Pickups, David Ricciuti Band, The Knott Family Band, Uke Frenzy, The Anecdote, Shearers Tally Bush Band, Phoebe Like the Moon, The Black Harrys, Badger Creek Women's Choir plus many more.

In addition to these musical artists and acts, there will also be street buskers situated throughout the town to enjoy as you wander from venue to venue.

Workshops will be available also if you are interested in partaking in learning some Bluegrass Guitar or Ukele tips, enjoying a Singing Workshop or gaining some Songwriting guidance. Children's activities will be available also.

Food trucks will be on offer and the Racecourse will be hosting a Community market on the Saturday morning.

The venues which will be part of the Music Festival are The Memo, Healesville R.S.L., Monda Muse (which is the name given to the Healesville Racecourse grounds), Mocha and Lime, Beechworth Bakery and the Uniting Church.

A program will be available for you to plan your day and choose which performances at which particular venue you would like to select to see.

Ticket Prices for a full weekend pass $90 or $80 for Students or Pensioner Concession Card Holders.

A Friday night pass is $25 or $22 for Students or Concession Card holders.

A Saturday pass is $55 or $50 (Student/Pensioner Concession)

A Sunday pass is $40 or $35 (Student/Pensioner Concession)

Children under 13 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Camping is also available at the Healesville Racecourse, known as Monda Muse, if you are looking for accommodation for the weekend. Camping fees cost $25 per person (under 13 free). Please check the website www.healesvillemusicfestival.com.au for further details.

In addition to the camping option, Healesville has numerous accommodation options including Hotel's and Motel's, as well as many Bed and Breakfasts in the area.

The Healesville Music Festival is a fabulous event, treat yourself to a weekend enjoying the wonderful entertainment on offer in a most beautiful environment!
