This small market is held on the third Sunday of the month. On my visit, there were only about twenty stalls, but a large range of merchandise.

The biggest stall would be an array of toys, second-hand jeans, lots of other things and a line-up of bells.

At many markets, it is always pleasing to see something different, a business that normally would not be associated with farmer's markets or art and craft ones. Authentic Palmistry is one. Palm reader Stephen is a practical and insightful reader with a background of 40 years.

Pixfinder Photography had a 'pop up' studio set up ready to take your portrait. Laurie can take your photo or your canine friend. He has many samples on display.

A market would not be complete without a stall of candles and soaps. Debbie does candles & soaps and much more.

Most markets have several vendors of plants and shrubs for your garden. Yarra Valley Plants specialise in rare and unusual perennials, such as pineapply lily and blue stokes aster. Certainly a talking point at your next garden club meeting.

A regular at this market is Moskette Toys, featuring wooden cut-outs of horse heads. The colourful bird feeders look very attractive, more colourful than the birds they will attract.

In the spirit of something different, Yarra Valley Whisky displays and sells its range of distilled beverages, including whisky, rum, gin, moonshine and more. I counted 7 different gins. Moonshine? Distiller Michael explains, "Moonshine is basically whisky that is too young to be legally called whisky." "But perfectly legal," he adds.

Beauville Hand Crafts have a range of hand-knitted caps, toys and other woollen items. A rack of colourful dresses and skirts was visible from afar.

Beady Bliss is what Rene calls her hand-crafted and designed beady things and a large range of earrings.

The next Healesville Market in Coronation Park, River Street, is on Sunday 19 March 2023. It is one of the many attractions in Healesville.
