'Tis the season to enjoy outdoor Christmas Carols
It is that festive time of year, when the harmonies of Christmas carols sound through the air at, well, most places you visit at the moment!
In Healesville this year, the annual Healesville Community Carols will be held in beautiful Queens Park. There will be lots of fun activities to be enjoyed by families, with pre-show entertainment commencing from 5:30pm. There will even be a visit from Santa!
This is a very popular annual community event and the talented performers enjoy entertaining the crowd each year. This year, the Carols will feature performances by Roy Best, On Church Street, Old Smokey & the Raven, Sarah Rose as well as other special guests.
Queens Park is also the home of plaque number 19, which is part of the Healesville Historic Walk. This walk is well worth a look if you are visiting Healesville and also for members of the local community who may not have taken part in walking this interesting and informative part of Healesville's history.
The Beechworth Bakery is a short walk from Queens Park via walking across the handy bridge over the Graceburn Creek. Another great option if you are looking for some yummy treats or drinks to bring over to the Carols.
