The Regal Theatre , in Subiaco, proudly brings you a wonderful adaptation of the Noel Coward comedy play, 'Hay Fever'. 'Hay Fever' will be running, at the Regal, from Thursday 13th November to Sunday 23rd November, 2013.



Written in 1924, by English playwright Noel Coward , 'Hay fever' was first produced in 1925 and has since been remade many times. This play is often described as a cross between 'high farce and a comedy of manners', and is always a popular show with audiences.

Set in the 1920's, in an English Country house, 'Hay Fever' tells the story of Judith Bliss, a retired stage star, former actress and matriarch of a dysfunctional family. She invites a young suitor to join her in the country, but her hopes of flirtation disappear as her novelist husband and her two eccentric children arrive with their own guests.

A series of misjudged meetings, secret seductions and scandalous revelations follow to make a most outrageously funny house party.

An unmissable theatre experience, 'Hay Fever' stars Felicity Kendal, one of the UK's most popular actresses, well known for her TV shows The Good Life and Rosemary and Thyme.
