Calling all crafty people - you will love the new ! Launched in 1979, It is one of Melbourne's longest running markets.
Here you can actually meet the makers of the products.
They have a huge range of handmade items. Explore around 40 stallholders and even some decadent treats.
If you are looking for some unique gifts for your friends or perhaps some lovely homewares for yourself that have a handmade twist, I am certain you will find some interesting pieces here.
Run by the Camberwell Rotary Club, the funds collected go to good use here and you can experience the best vintage shopping along with unique items from a makers market.
The is located 2 blocks away from the Camberwell Sunday Market, so you may like to combine the two and have a unique day out.
Ignite café
What would a day out at a market be without snacks and food?Ignite offers tea, coffee, drinks, delicious gourmet sweets, savoury snacks and more - all within the same Market venue.
I love that the cafe is a not for profit 'living classroom' where people gain on-the-job, real work experiences and certified training. In supporting the cafe, you are assisting people to gain experience in hospitality services and at the same time they are completing accredited courses through Jesuit Community College.
Located at 340 Camberwell Road, Camberwell - the market is held on the first Sunday of each month between March and December (2nd Sunday in April) from 10am until 3pm with an additional Christmas-themed twilight market, usually held in December on a weekday evening and entry is free.
