Do arts and crafts, model railways, historic bus rides, collectables and antique machinery and vehicles fascinate you? Well, the Hawkesbury Model and Hobby Show will be perfect for you.

This year, the Sixth Annual Hawkesbury Model and Hobby Show will be held at the Hawkesbury Showground Clarendon from Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

Figuring among this year's show are the Sydney Antique Machinery Club, Rural Fire Service, St John Ambulance vintage and veteran Cars, trucks and buses.

The Annual Australasian Telephone Collectors Show will be part of the show which showcases hobbies in the Hawkesbury district. The Scout's Badges and Railway Fettler's Trikes figure among the newcomers of this show as well as more Model Railways.

According to its website, "All profits from the show must be used to support the community through charities, associations and community projects. The Hobby Show has made small donations each year to groups such as St John Ambulance, Hawkesbury Hospital Auxiliary, Rural Fire Service and Cystic Fibrosis NSW and the change to independent association are seen as the natural development of the event. It is anticipated that we will be able to make much larger donations in coming years."

This year, the Australian Pioneer Village will be the major beneficiary of funds raised.
