A brand new community event

Hawkesbury City Council is proudly presenting an exciting new community event as part of Local Government Week.

The inaugural Hawkesbury Fest is a free, family-friendly event, which will take over Governor Phillip Park on Sunday 29th July 2018.

Come down with your family and friends and enjoy a jam-packed day of interactive activities, entertainment and fun for the kids.

Look forward to bustling food stalls, a pop-up library, the Hawkesbury Regional Museum and Gallery display, the Hawkesbury Animal Shelter dog competitions and wellbeing activities from the YMCA and Oasis Centre.

For the kids, there will be free face painting, craft activities and jumping castles.

The brand new playground at Governor Phillip Park, which was designed with consultation by the Touched by Olivia Foundation, will also be officially opened by the Mayor. As part of the festivities, children can create an art piece which will be hung around the fence line.

The Hawkesbury Fest also coincides with National Tree Day, so come along and grab a free plant!

Hawkesbury Fest is set to be a great family day out this winter, so rug up and join in the fun on Sunday 29th July 2018. All are welcome!
