Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail Inc. proudly present their annual 'Open Studio Weekend' this August.



All are invited to meet and greet Hawkesbury's finest artists and artisans at the forthcoming two day event, which will be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of August, from 10am to 4pm daily.

This popular family-friendly event is perfect for all lovers of art as there will be a wide range of paintings, metalwork, ceramics, photography, jewellery & more, all showcased in various art studios in and around the region.

There will over 10 art studios open to the public over the two day event; some of the highlights include;

- 'Christine's Studio': home to a unique range of hand thrown and decorated porcelain.

- 'Attic Art Studio': Janet Duff's studio, where she paints a wide range of subjects, including land or seascape, figure, portrait and still life.

- 'Magic Metals': Ken Pearce's steel fabrication workshop 'where you are only limited by your imagination'.

- 'Mellow Crest Studio/Gallery': Leanne Jones' scenic studio, where she paints her award winning works.

- 'Piggery Lane Studios & Gallery': A gallery showcasing artworks from several award winning Hawkesbury artists.

- 'Mellissa Read Devine at Purple Noon Gallery'; Mellissa Read Devine, who recently held an exhibition at Purple Noon Gallery, will be at the popular art and sculpture gallery during the Open Studio Weekend event.
