Spend a day or the weekend exploring the Trail

The beautiful Hawkesbury Valley, just over an hour from Sydney, has long been known as the "Home of Artists" and is home to the Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail.

The Trail was created by Artists for Artists and its members are some of the most talented, and well-known Artists and Artisans in the Hawkesbury region.

The Trail is a non-profit organisation which has been designed to promote local, professional and emerging Artists and Artisans and allows the visitor to meet our members in their own unique and creative environments.

Members of the Trail will be throwing open their Gallery and Studio doors to the public, showcasing their talents and creations in their own studios, during our Annual Open Studio Weekend on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August, from 10am to 4pm daily.

On display will be affordable Fine Art, Photography, Glass, Jewellery, Mosaics, Jewellery, and more.

This premier event on the Hawkesbury Arts calendar gives visitors an opportunity to meet the Artists and Artisans and to see Artists at work as well as have the opportunity, to purchase affordable fine art direct from the Artist.

Here you can find out the Artists stories and why they are driven to create.

Some members will have guest Artists at their studios, so you will have an opportunity to see more of our Artists and Artisans in one location.

Several of our members who teach across all mediums, will give demonstrations during the weekend.

If you feel inspired during your visit to our studios, to unleash your creative spirit, please ask us about tuition or a workshop. And if you are interested in a commission our members will be only too happy to assist.
