An invitation to Run, Hide and Survive
It seems those guys and girls at Hunted the Interactive Horror Experience take great pleasure in making your scariest nightmares come true. Like being trapped in an abandoned vaudeville circus at the mercy of the demented Happy Clown in Sideshow. Or being lured to the mysterious Dark Lake where strange things happen and people go missing.
This Halloween promises to be one of the scariest yet as they present Hatchet, a one night only, horror chaser in the style of Wolf Creek or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Sound tempting? The story line for Hatchet goes like this..... You are transported on a coach to a dark and mysterious camp site. Your hosts assure you that everything is fine, that it's just a show, an interactive theatre production, all in fun, nothing to REALLY worry about…BUT everything is just a bit too real, too convincing and then the reassurances stop coming.....
You don't know where you are. You don't remember the way out. All you know is you're trespassing. The locals are mad and armed with home-made axe blades and far more familiar with the terrain than you are. It is up to you to escape from the darkened farm, chased by merciless strangers intent on chopping you to pieces! Work with your fellow trespassers to sneak, hide and run your way to freedom…if you can!
In this unique interactive horror experience, you are the one being hunted and you must use your wits and the help of your fellow participants to escape.
I must confess that to me this sounds absolutely terrifying. I could not even get past the first 30 minutes of Wolf Creek and that was in the comfort of my living room. It's fair to say I could not possibly participate without screaming myself hoarse or bruising someone horribly from hanging on to them too tightly. But I'm sure there are many of you out there who are much braver than me and would be delighted to put their hands up for this special Halloween event.
