FREE screening of multi-award winning documentary

On Wednesday 11 April, 2018, Falun Dafa Association of Australia is presenting a Parliamentary screening of Harvested Alive, a multi-awarding winning documentary film which details the collection of evidence into the state sanctioned, military controlled, forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience in China.

The screening of the human rights documentary will be held at the Macquarie Room of NSW State Parliament House and be followed by an enlightening panel discussion and Q & A session with NSW Green MP Mr David Shoebridge and the chief investigator Dr Wang via Skype.

As a doctor, Zhiyuan Wang spent 30 years studying how to save lives. He never imagined that he would spend another 10 years investigating how Chinese doctors take innocent lives. His research reveals an inconceivable truth China's hospitals, judiciary, and military worked together under the authority of the previous Chinese president Jiang Zemin to mercilessly slaughter thousands of Falun Gong practitioners through the harvesting of their organs.

This film screening and panel discussion will present the unfolding story of the billion-dollar organ trade in China and discuss how are Australians impacted and the role NSW Parliament can play. This event offers audience the opportunity to learn the latest research on organ harvesting as well as the discussion on the ethical implications and how NSW can champion a positive change with the proposed legislative change of Human Tissue Amendment Bill in NSW Parliament and set an example for the international community.

Today, in a time of peace, it is difficult for people to believe that such a large-scale massacre has been silently taking place in China. But the truth shows that this frenzied killing machine, driven by huge profits, is still running rampant in society.

It is FREE to attend the screening of Harvested Alive and the panel discussion with Mr Shoebridge and Dr Wang. The event will take place from 6pm on 11 April at the Macquarie Room of NSW Parliament and all are welcome to attend.
