While this one's over, check out Harvest 'n' Graze at Ripponlea for your chance to WIN TICKETS.

Shake out your picnic rug and switch on all your senses for the delightfully delicious Harvest 'n' Graze Food, Music & Wine Festival at the magnificent Morning Star Estate in Mt Eliza. It's on Sunday, October 7th from 10am to 6pm. It's just an hour from Melbourne, it's just up the road from the deep blue sea and, if the first Harvest 'n' Graze at Caulfield in early 2012 is anything to go by, it's going to be sensational.

Imagine this: a fabulous live music line-up including Aussie greats Pseudo Echo, Sarah and the King Bees and many other top-class acts; live, sizzling cooking demonstrations by some of our best creators of all things culinary; rockin' rollin' rides and fun for the kids; and some upbeat, world-class entertainment by The Mudcakes, the much-loved musical duo who also keep the kiddies captivated at some of the best events and festivals across the state.

And then there are the wild, wonderful food offerings at this fab food and wine festival, well worthy of a pause for a few moments to salivate in anticipation. Many of our best, passionate Victorian food producers will tantalise tastebuds across dozens of delectable stalls. Where to start?

Well, what about bucking the trend and starting with something sweet: maybe some soft, buttery handmade caramel by Caramelicious in four divine flavours.

Then maybe sizzle it up a bit with Seņor BBQ. Unleash your inner Latino with Argentinean-influenced BBQ Asado (ribs), succulent sausages and more.

Finish with some melt-in-the-mouth Blue Bay Cheese handcrafted by passionate, local artisan cheesmakers, and complement with a splash or two of Chirping Bird Wines made in nearby Mim's Vineyard - so good, they really do make you want to sing.

If you fancy making a business out of cooking and creating inspiring food, visit My Other Kitchen and have a chat with one of their current clients, Crabtree Salts, who will be represented at the marquee. There will also be samples of smoked salt and pepper and maybe even a brand new range of smoked goods available.

There's a wide array of local goodies on offer, from regional cheeses, wines and olives, plump strawberries, boutique beers, artisan breads, a bunch of sustainable eco-products, and plenty of ready-to-eat delights. Check out more of the food and wine stars starring at Morning Star Estate.

Harvest 'n' Graze is run by the lovely lot from In Season Farmers' Markets, who also run the Caulfield Farmers' Market, the new Caulfield Market at the Racecourse, and a series of other Farmers' Markets across the state.

They also have another exciting event up their sleeves: Harvest 'n' Graze at Rippon Lea Gardens in Elsternwick on Sunday November 18th. Make it a date - or two.

For Your Chance To Win 1 of 3 Double Passes (valued at $50 each) to Harvest 'n' Graze 2012 at Morning Star Estate, please send an email to competitions@weekendnotes.com with 'Harvest 'n' Graze' in the Email Subject Line.

This competition will close on September 16, 2012.
