Rise Like A Loaf And Get Into Harvest Breads Cafe
Don't you just wish those favourite market stalls of yours would open their own store? Well if you're a fan of Harvest Breads then you're in luck - they've got their own cafe in Cotton Tree on the Esplanade and it's just as good as what you'd find on the weekend markets.

Harvest Breads Cafe does it all, from organic artisan breads, cakes, pastries, bakery cafe and house made condiments, to coffees, teas, fresh juices, breakfast and lunch. There will be plenty for you to feast your eyes on once you walk in the door. If you're lucky there may even be a few samples out - I got a have a bit of the brownie and it was a delight.

These guys have been around the Coast for a while now. Husband and wife team John and Sharon Somerville have been producing handmade, all natural breads and condiments on the Sunshine Coast for a few years. Besides the cafe they're also found at the Eumundi Markets every Saturday, at selected retail outlets in south-east Queensland and online.

If you want the most out of what they offer though you've got to get into the cafe on the Esplanade. I've had plenty of good meals there in the time they've been around. They've always got plenty on the specials board, some samples of breads and treats to try and just a great atmosphere over the road from the park and the Maroochy River.

[ADVERT]I went in most recently for some time to myself. This was the best place for it, it was quiet, calm and gave me the time to just enjoy my own company. This particular morning I went with the organic bircher muesli ($10.90). They were oats, fresh apple juice, almonds, rasins, sultanas, sunflower seeds, grated apple and natural yoghurt. It looked awesome and tasted just as great. For a drink I couldn't go past the mocha ($4) for a sweet pick me up. Both went well together and really helped to make my morning. It was a great way to treat myself.

Harvest Breads have always had a great name for themselves on the Coast and it's fantastic to see them with their own store to call home. You can get a great meal here easily and then some home baked bread to take back to the family. You can't ask for anything more.
