I am a natural movement & outdoor enthusiast who is always on the lookout for ways to incorporate physical activity into my life. My perfect day would combine outdoor movement, great food & convivial company.
Delightful place to take junior aviation enthusiasts
If your child or toddler is fascinated by airplanes and would be blown away to not only see a Boeing 747 closeup but to board one as well, then head down to the HARS Aviation Museum this weekend for their monthly Tarmac Day.

The HARS Aviation Museum guides open aircraft for inspection including the iconic Super Constellation "Connie" plus their Boeing 747-400 jumbo, an F-111 and Neptune bombers, Caribou, Dakotas and more.
The museum is located at Illawarra Regional Airport, Albion Park, just over an hour by car from Sydney.
A special family package of just $45 applies to tarmac days for two adults and up to four children aged up to 15.
For older kids, visitors can also book to "walk the wing" on a Boeing 747 (separate cost applies).
A veteran Neptune submarine hunter of the cold war era will fly again during the March monthly "Tarmac Days". Held for three days starting on the second Friday of each month, the Tarmac Days cover Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8 – 10 March 2019.
