is a cafe within Wirra Wirra Winery. It is a fine place for a casual breakfast, brunch or lunch. One of the big benefits of this location is that while dining, the cafe visitors experience the ambience of the historic winery and also views of their peaceful native gardens and biodynamically farmed vineyards. has a reputation for being the ideal pit-stop when you are touring the region for a quick coffee and takeaway snack. Another highlight of is the friendly service and the use of local produce such as Clappis bread and Dawn Patrol coffee.



Delicious Pancakes
For lovers of a big cooked breakfast, is open early only on weekends for breakfast, bookings are required. There is a great selection of breakfast classics, I found it hard to go past the pancakes, which were a hit with everyone, listed as Harry's Buttermilk Pancakes, Golden North Award-Winning Vanilla Ice Cream, and Maple Syrup.



The Big Breakfast
Breakfast menu classics on offer are the big breakfast which has everything including Smoked Bacon, Eggs, Hashbrown and Mushrooms on sourdough, plus a list of side orders. There is also Bacon and Eggs on a Clappis Bread Roll with Spice Girls Relish. All the eggs are from free-range pasture-fed happy chickens right in the Fleurieu Peninsula from Feather and Peck. On thing is for sure, no one walks away hungry here.



Vegetarian Options
For those seeking vegetarian options try the Raw Bliss Granola, Coconut Yoghurt, Blueberry Compote - which is tasty and generous. There is also a Scrambled Tofu, Grilled Mushrooms, Spinach, with Clappis Sourdough Toast.



The Origins of the Name
takes its name from a much-loved McLaren Vale character Harry Kilaitis, who was a gifted carpenter and spent many of his days working out of Sparrow's Lodge at Wirra Wirra. While well known to the locals, Harry flew under the radar, once admitting to never having a Tax File Number. He was your C.O.D. kind of guy. Harry's work graces the offices and cellar doors of a number of McLaren Vale wineries, but it was at Wirra Wirra where he made his mark transforming Greg Trott's dreams of oversized doors, tables and arches into timber masterpieces.



Lunch and Brunch
features a delicious menu that specialises in showcasing regional produce in platters, Tom's seasonal bowls of abundance, salads and mouth-watering panini, all accompanied by a selection of Wirra Wirra wines.
