Feeling quite peckish on a Sunday afternoon and craving an Australian staple, the humble pie, I decided to venture to Harry's Cafe de Wheels because I'd heard so many great things about it.
Lured by the call of potato mash and mushy peas, I ordered Harry's 'Tiger' with the vegetarian pie for the princely sum of $5.90 and was very excited when a giant wall of potato and peas on top of my pie was handed to me.
However my excitement was somewhat short lived as even though the potato and peas were delicious, the vegetarian pie itself, a mix of veggies with a cheese sauce, was bland and the cheese sauce tasted as though it was straight out of a packet. But they must be doing something right judging by the array of celebrity photographs on their wall - I just wouldn't recommend it for a vegetarian.
