To commemorate Harmony Day 2019, Springvale Neighbourhood House is proudly presenting a vibrant community festival on Sunday 17th March. Entry is FREE and all are welcome to take part in the fun festivities.Harmony Festival promotes understanding and respect for diverse cultural, linguistic and religious groups.Kicking off at midday in Harmony Square, the event will feature a jam-packed line-up of entertainment, interactive activities and bustling food stalls serving up tantalising dishes from around the globe.Highlights include the International Dress Parade, Harmony Concert and there will also be free activities to take part in, such as Chinese fortune-telling, henna hand painting, Chinese tea tasting, Oromo coffee ceremony and Dress Like an Egyptian!For the kids, there is face-painting, a colouring completion and free show bags. Adding the festive atmosphere are community stalls and a dedicated Cultural Food Park!Join the local community and immerse yourself in different cultural experiences at Harmony Festival 2019.
