Harmony Day celebrates the diverse, multicultural culture we enjoy in Australia, and it reminds us to encourage and practice inclusiveness and respect for all Australians united by core values, regardless of language or background. Join Arts by the Sea for their 4th annual event in the heart of Adelaide's premier seaside hub at St Andrew's by the Sea Uniting Church, 92 Jetty Rd, Glenelg on Sunday 17 March 2019 (St Patrick's Day) from 12pm to 5pm. Three things to remember; the event is FREE, however you need to REGISTER. Last but not least, though admission is free, donations at the door are warmly welcomed for the benefit of Community Aid who provide essential food and toiletries to those effected by poverty and homelessness in the southwest metro region, so have a heart!
The International Food Hall will be up and running with food from around the world to tempt your tastebuds. Candela Latin American Food returns to delight your senses with South American street food in an array of zesty flavours and vibrant colours. The Thai Festival & Cultural Association of SA Inc will be joining the party for the first time in the food hall. If you love the exotic and piquant flavours of Thai food, come along and check it out. Catch up with family and friends in the cafe' area or relax in the community garden and enjoy a program of family friendly live entertainment all afternoon. There will be multicultural activities for you to enjoy and take part in, plus a showcasing of local talents in performing arts from around the world. Stay updated via the event page.
