Tastes of the orient, international performances, kids rides
Watch the news and you can't help thinking the world has gone crazy. I read a great quote the other day, "be the change you want to see in the world". Respect for others starts at home at a young age through the knowledge that people are all one and we can share happy loving times together. What better way to show this than through a fun family festival day out?
Held on Saturday 12 March at Springfield Central, Harmony Day Festival 2016 aims to promote intercultural understanding and solidarity in order to build a harmonic society.

There is a free Land Train, free Face Painting, free Water Park for kids, an animal farm and various stalls including some great International food vendors. And the kids will love exploring the fire engine! There are plenty of rides including dodgem cars, super sizzler, tea cups, giant slide, jumping castle, merry-go-round and an inflatable rock wall.
The whole day is brought to us by the World Harmony Society. Check out the event on Facebook for further details and updates. Entry is free and $15 armbands are available for unlimited fun rides (early bird gives you 4 bands for $50 as a school fundraiser).
The afternoon is being held on Saturday 12 March 2016 from 3pm to 8pm at Robelle Domain Parkland Education City Drive, Springfield Central. In case of rain visit the Harmony Day Festival website or their Facebook page for information.
