The Gov is one of Adelaide's premier live music venues. On Saturday night 8th December 2012 the main concert area will hold For Your Love , a 1960s British Invasion tribute show.

But, if you're in the mood for something different, don't want to pay the price of a ticket and still want to enjoy the ambience of the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel , the front bar is the place to be.

On the night in question, acoustic duo Harmless Hunter will perform their original songs, with guest artist Sam Brittain opening proceedings from 9pm.

Two brothers, Scott and James Francis, are Harmless Hunter . They play gentle guitar music and blend vocal harmonies around their lyrics. I cannot claim an unbiased review here; the same last name is no coincidence. However, rather than take my word for it, check out this song and make up your own mind.

For more information about the gig you can contact the venue or email Sian Walden at band management Little Acorn.

Entry to The Gov front bar is free. If you want drinks, you have to pay for them. Such is life.
