For lovers of great food and great music
I have visited many Hard Rock Cafes on my travels, Las Vegas, Orlando, London, Birmingham, Rome, to name a few and they never get old.
Hard Rock Surfers Paradise is no exception, it may not have the most memorabilia compared to others put location wise and layout wise, I'd say it was up there with my favourites.
It is based right in the middle of Surfers Paradise on the side of Surfers Centro shopping mall, you can't miss it, just follow the large guitar. It has a big dining area including an outdoor section and a large circular bar in the centre, complete with it's own Rock Shop. (Ask about surfers paradise signature t-shirt.)
The Restaurant is well designed. The circular bar allows people to sit all the way around the bar and allows easier and faster service. The staff are friendly, helpful and due to the world famous franchise go through extensive training to make sure Hard Rock stays customer focused and one of the best chains world wide.
HardRock is an American Truck stop style restaurant with a little bit more class these days; waitresses still refrain from carrying trays to give it more of that diner feel, and aren't afraid to have a good banter with the customers. Most if not all memorabilia are from rock bands and top musicians. Surfers Paradise has collectables including Gwen Stefani's bra, Kiss's Guitar amoungst other novelty pieces.
The menu is the same all around the world, and definately is as yummy all around the world too. Whether you're keen on burgers, salad, or a huge mountain of nachos there'll be something on the menu for everyone. The Drinks menu boasts a large range of cocktails, mocktails and shots. The place is perfect for families, couples wanting a night out with a difference or my particular favourite: birthdays!.(Party like a Rock star and get one of the servers to announce your special occasion and get the whole restuarant singing.)
HardRock also offers happy hours between 4 - 6 pm with $5 pints and 50c chicken wings, so whether you're out for a night out with a difference, a nice meal with the kids, or a few drinks with your mates, this is the place to be.
