Harbour Town; everything you need, located near the airport.
I went yesterday just to have a look around and I was in the mood for some bargains. It's a good place to watch planes take off and land while have a coffee, so it's great for kids, great for the bargains and shopping and to pick up something for dinner on your way home.
I would definitely recommend Harbour Town for casual bargain shopping while visiting Adelaide. Cheaper than Marion and not to crowded, you can beat the crowds at Harbour Town. Stores in Harbour Town include of Portmans, Jag, Esprit, Sheridan. I found the shops to be stocked well, with a great number of variety too. I picked up some really nice items for my house and a good book to read at the book store. There are some really nice lingerie shops as well.
Also, I would like to point out that you need to keep an eye on prices, as some shops have the same product but sell them at different prices.
There are plenty of parking spaces in the car park and if you are in the mood, there is a lovely little kiosk to get some really nice ice cream, and beside that, there are massage chairs to relax in if you want. There are also places for the kids to play and many different restaurants if you get hungry.
I enjoyed Harbour Town and will be going there again.
I agree with you - it's one of the perfect locations to enjoy the sight planes taking off and landing, while enjoying a warm cup of coffee, especially during the winter! :)
And there are amazing bargains to find in this lovely area - I've found stuff at 70% discount compared to the outlets in town or at Westfield!
