Come on a fashion walk in Brisbane
Have you ever been to a fabulous fashion fun day? Some of them are the same but most are rather interesting and particularly the Harajuku Fashion Walk for 2019.

This is an annual Brisbane Fashion Walk which is coming soon! This is a free event for all lovers of vibrant Japanese street fashion to see and enjoy.

It will start at 11.00 am and go to 3.00 pm. They will meet in Brisbane City for photo opportunities before they actually start the walk at midday.

For those people who are not familiar with what the Harajuku Fashion Walk is, it is an event that takes place in the suburb of Harajuku in Tokyo. Here there are lovers of unique Japanese subcultures and fashion who meet to walk around in their finest outfits!

Last year was the first International Harajuku Fashion Day where cities all over the world took part in celebrating their interest in Japanese street fashion.

In Japan, the people hang out with Tokyo's trendiest fashionistas and cosplayers as you shop your way through Tokyo's world-famous Harajuku district. Here it takes about 2.5 hours walking for this event. Harajuku and Omotesando are known worldwide for their trendy people of street-style devotees who come to show off the latest wears.

All fashion sub-genres are welcome as long as you can all have fun together.

Join in the walk from King George Square to Southbank Parklands! Make sure you take plenty of photos and selfies!

The only rules are:

Have fun
Treat others how you would like to be treated
Don't be an idiot
Have fun

At this event, they do not encourage people to cosplay if possible. Many people here think this is a way of life, not a costume, so organisers want to make sure people do not just assume that they will be going to a costume party. However, if you do decide to come in cosplay, that is still fine and you will not be turned away.
