Art is a skill that can be used in so many ways in one's lifetime. It is also something that can be found in almost every walk of life, from the buildings around us to the clothes we wear. Therefore, art could be classified as the heart of our existence.
On 18 January 2020 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm,
Samantha Huges , will be hosting an art workshop teaching kids in Year 1 to 6 how to paint wild horses with ink. Apart from learning painting and crafting techniques, kids will also learn tricks for painting with Indian ink.and how to make a wall hanging with cardboard and wool. Kids will leave with sketches, an A4 drawing on watercolour paper, and a horse wall hanging. A perfect reward for a creative day of learning.
The class is suitable for all level of artists and will be held at the
Inkling Art Space in Fremantle. Parents, or an adult, will need to accompany each child.
Fees are $75.00 and include tuition and all art supplies for 1 child AND 1 adult. Bookings can be done
online .
It is recommended to wear older clothes or dark clothes as it can get messy. Personally, I find this one of the best activities to do with your child, which can leave a lasting memory.
