The longest-running children's show in Australia, and the second longest-running worldwide,
Play School is nothing short of an Australian institution. Three generations of Australians have grown up with
Play School - a show that encourages and inspires children to wonder, think, feel and imagine.

First broadcast on the 18th of July 1966, the show is still going strong. There are more than 2250 episodes and the show is still as popular as it has ever been - being telecast more than 3 times per day and available on iView to watch anytime. It's a trusted and much-loved household name.
To help celebrate the half-century of
Play School, you can visit the
South Australian Maritime Museum for a very special, very exclusive exhibition.
