Get yourself date ready for a fun night out in the city. Get your tickets to Happily Ever Poofter at The Butterfly Club , 5 Carson Place (off Lt. Collins St), in the CBD - just a hop skip and a jump away from Flinders Station, and on the side of the street opposite the Melbourne Town Hall. A short walk down Lt. Collins St, and Carson Place is on your left. Looking down the laneway, it's right at the end in a place you'd never expect an entertainment palace to be. The Butterfly Club is very kitschy, and with its many floors, stairs and rooms, it's like a cavern of curiosities. There are shows happening there all the time, so stay in touch. It's a great way to add a surprise element to your date night, by adding a short and very affordable show that also supports live entertainment.

Happily Ever Poofter is playing at the Club till Saturday 25 November 2023 at 8.30pm for all shows. Tickets are just $39 and less for concession, members, groups, and broke butterflies. Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show as performances start bang on time. Enjoy a drink and munch on some crisps at the bar while you wait. Being a licensed venue, under 18s can only attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Prince Henry just wants his 'happily ever after', but it just didn't feel right when he tried dating Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. He's the only gay in his faraway Kingdom and decides he might have to enter the real world on a quest to find his one true love. If you love fairytales with a twist, and not allergic to raging queers, this could be the award-winning smash-hit parody musical for you. It's being performed in Melbourne, and the state of Victoria for the first time ever, so be sure to catch a great night of entertainment and join Prince Henry on his hilarious quest for true love and discover why this theatrical spectacular has thrilled and entertained audiences across the world.

Prince Henry aka Rich Watkins is the full package and brainchild behind this show. Alone on stage he fills the room with his personality, witty script and catchy reworked Disney songs, very passable strong vocals, dance moves, high kicks, a few costume changes and to top it off, a couple of cute hand puppets to help round out his one hour show. The show features reimagined Disney classes like High Ho, I've just come out to the King and Let it Show. There's some audience participation. but are however reminded humorously it's primarily a one-man-show. Actor, writer and activist, Rich Watkins no stranger to the London queer theatre community. For a rich night of performance where the performer gives a witty, intelligent, yet bawdy 110% performance, complete with high kicks in impossibly tall and high boots for your entertainment at this Melbourne exclusive, head to the Butterfly Club.
