Hannah Gadsby rose to fame in Australia after winning the Raw Comedy Competition in 2006 with her dry, witty routine. Since then the award winning comedian has appeared on TV in Australia and New Zealand - Adam Hills Tonight, Please Like Me, Good News Week, Spicks and Specks and 7 Days to name a few. Last year, she wrote and starred in her own show on ABC TV, Hannah Gadsby's Oz, which was well received by audiences and critics alike.

Hannah's agent says, "She is sardonic, laconic and, after numerous bone crunching accidents, bionic. Her droll delivery, delightful wordplay and heartbreakingly funny, self-deprecating observations have delighted audiences all over the world."

Now Brisbane audiences have the chance to check out Hannah's live stage show, as she brings Donkey to the Brisbane Powerhouse stage for the Brisbane Comedy Festival . Crowds can expect to see Hannah tackle themes of sexuality, society and art, with plenty of laughs along the way.

In 2014 Hannah sold out shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Canberra and Brisbane before heading over to perform in the Edinburgh fringe and record her own BBC radio series. So if you're keen to catch her while she's in Brisbane, you'd better book early.
