The newest addition to the Central Coast art gallery scene is HANG - Nicole Ruiz Gallery located at Saratoga on the NSW Central Coast.
Nicole's style is modern mixed media. Her artwork captures the beauty of the natural environment she is surrounded by in her seascapes, landscapes, fauna and flora still life. Nicole describes her art as "an intimate study & celebration of the effortless beauty found in nature".
Among the larger works, there are prints and extractions for sale, which is a nice touch as you can take home an affordable piece of art if the budget does not stretch itself to one of the large scale originals.
Hang is a lovely gallery set amongst the trees overlooking the Brisbane and Kincumber Broadwater, the day we visited, the French fireplace was stoked to keep us warm and the coffee and banana bread were delicious and a nice treat after the drive.
Hi, Thank you for your great review! We went to visit Nicole's gallery yesterday after spending the day in Terrigal. My husband and I really loved her work. Such a great style, but more so, the beauty of her paintings. We have commissioned her to paint us the tortoise swimming in the aqua blue sea as it was already sold. We are having it painted on an even bigger canvas as per her suggestions. Just stunning. Thanks
