Event:
Put down the hammer and step away from the drill - it's time to get your hands on the Hands-On Expo coming to Brisbane this November.

Get out of the shed and into the RNA Showground for a three day event with the latest big boy toys, hardware and skills to become a construction wiz or just a home built hero.

It's sure to be Tool Time nostalgia for everyone, and while Tim Allen won’t be there, there are four shows in one to take your attention.

Strap on your safety goggles for the Woodworking expo, Auto and Metalworking expo, DIY expo and if you really like what you see there, then the Careers expo is for you.

According to the website:

“Australia's biggest tools and trades Expo has all the machinery, hardware, and tools, for the factory, workshop, shed and home. Plus the skills, ideas, tips and techniques to make any hands-on project a breeze.”

The woodworking, auto and metal working and DIY expos will feature a long list of suppliers showing off the latest toys and services in their individual fields. There will also be demonstrations, such as spray painting techniques, carving and techniques for building furniture and house hold items.

Of course if any of the above takes your fancy, the careers component is for you. It promises information for anyone such as a school leaver or someone in the business looking to mix it up a bit. This could be a great place to meet your new boss and get an apprenticeship.
