The Handmade Show is an indoor, monthly makers market in the South-East of Melbourne, showcasing talent from a variety of makers and artisans.
The Handmade Show - a delightful indoor maker's market
What makes this market different is the unmistakable community feel underlying everything it stands for. It's even run by a committee of stall-holders who volunteer their time to the running of the market.
The next market date is set for this Saturday, 19th March at St. Anthony's Parish Hall at 164 Neerim Rd, Glen Huntly. From 10:30 - 3:30 you will find something for everyone. Kids decor, painted art, yummy treats, candles, beauty products and jewellery, just to name a few. And all while you listen to the crooning magic of musician Frank Lee Darling!
In addition to the talented makers on show, with FREE entry, an indoor cafe, live entertainment, giveaways, FREE kids craft activities and FREE kids face painting, there are so many reasons not to miss this market!
When you need a break from shopping, stop in at Cafe Handmade, hosted by volunteers from Tony's Cafe - an outreach soup kitchen open every Thursday night. Relax with a drink and something to eat, while you watch the market continue around you and plan your next move!
Don't forget to visit their official Facebook page for updates and information about upcoming events. There is even a giveaway happening RIGHT NOW!! To celebrate both their first market of 2016 and reaching 2000 likes on their Facebook page, they are giving away a $25 voucher to spend at any stall at the March 19 market! Make sure you head on over to their Facebook page right now and enter!
