Be a part of the local maker movement

This winter, Love Handmade Markets is proudly presenting a relaunch of the Handmade Redcliffe Boutique Market on the beautiful Margate waterfront.

Held on Saturday 21 July 2018 at Humpybong Oval, this is a unique opportunity to purchase one of a kind wares and gifts in a relaxed and vibrant, avant-garde/indie-craft community atmosphere.

Handmade Redcliffe was founded in 2013 and over the years, the markets have established a reputation for showcasing quality products in a welcoming environment.

Skip the crowded shopping centres and opt for Handmade Redcliffe Boutique Market. It is a place to slow down and take in the small pleasures of the maker movement.

Come down bright and early from 8am and mingle with local craftisans and enjoy an inspiring day out.

Organisers have handpicked a diverse range of 40 stallholders to peruse (no two stallholders are the same). Some of the stallholder highlights include Joanne Rutherford, Crochet & String, To a Tee Design, Grace Candles, Westend Pieces, Lil Apotheca, Sew Suzie, The New Devine, Creative Workroom, Imomade, Vovo & Yo and many more who will be offering jewellery, art, clothing, macrame, handmade soap, homewares, textiles, feltwear, childrenswear, stationery, candles, planner goods and more.

Spend a leisurely morning meeting the makers, meandering with a coffee in hand and purchase a sweet treat at the inaugural Humpybong State School bake sale.

Plus against the backdrop of spectacular sea views is a selection of food trucks serving up all your breakfast favourites! Make sure to say hello to Councillor Koliana Winchester, who will be opening the new market location at 8am and you can conclude your visit by taking the little ones to the shared community playground.

Entry is FREE and parking is available in surrounding side streets (short walk) and on the waterfront.
