Handmade meets the Arts is an initiative of the Moreton Bay Arts Council & Handmade Redcliffe and on Saturday 25th November 2017, lovers of handmade arts and crafts are invited to the 'Christmas Market' extravaganza at the historic Old Redcliffe Fire Station.The Handmade Meets the Arts Christmas Market will play host to a vast range of talented local artists and artisans residing in the Redcliffe Peninsula region and beyond, including visual artists, designers, painters, potters, jewellers, photographers, crafters and writers. The event will kick off at 10am and families are invited to come along and peruse the wide range of limited edition handmade products - there will be over 60 handmade art and creative stalls by Moreton Bay Arts Council Inc, Handmade Redcliffe Market, The Redcliffe Pottery Group and Redcliffe Art Society to explore.In addition to the bustling arts and craft stallholders, there will live music performances featuring talented local musicians and a hillbilly band, inspiring live art demonstrations and delicious food, coffee and homemade lemonade.Rumour has it that Santa may be making a special appearance too!Don't miss this special opportunity to shop local and support the local artists and artisans.
