The Handmade Market at EPIC is back to showcase the creations of local designers, artisans and gourmet food producers from Canberra and beyond.

With Christmas spirit in the air, there will be over 180 stalls - plenty of choice to find that perfect Christmas gift for that special someone or that someone who is hard to buy for!

There will be a variety of stalls selling handbags, homewares, baked goods, gourmet foods, stationary, furniture, toys and fashion. If you are after something special to decorate the Christmas table with, you will find a range of lovingly handcrafted creations - with the added bonus of meeting the person who created them.

With so many imaginative and creative people in one place, you are sure to be inspired. There will be gourmet foods including hot sauces, chocolates, nuts, pickles and jams as well as food stalls to buy something for lunch to recharge the batteries before you hit the markets again.

Due to the success of the markets, the organisers have also opened up Shop Handmade in the city, to connect local talent with their customers. If you enjoy the markets, why not visit the shop next time you are in the CBD to see more up and coming local designers and support their work.

Running over the two days, these popular markets have previously attracted over 20,000 people, which shows how Canberra's love for the Handmade Markets keeps growing and growing. For these markets in particular, there is always something special about a Christmas market to get everybody in the Christmas spirit....
